A resin early-version seat with cast safety belts for the Bf 109F in 1:32 scale from the Czech brand Quickboost (the Aires range).
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin pilot seat of the early version with safety belts cast directly in relief, for a kit of the Messerschmitt Bf 109F fighter in 1:32 scale from the Czech brand Quickboost (a production range of the Aires company). It is not an airplane model, but a detail accessory for the cockpit that replaces the bare plastic seat from the kit. The belts are part of the casting, so they add realistic detail with no need for photo-etch.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109F, nicknamed Friedrich, was the aerodynamically refined version of the German fighter from the first half of the Second World War, and many consider it the cleanest shape this aircraft ever had. It was powered by a liquid-cooled inverted V12 Daimler-Benz engine. A faithful seat in the tight, clearly visible cockpit lifts the overall impression of a model noticeably.
First wash the resin parts free of mold release residue and separate them carefully from the casting block; do any sanding with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the seat separately before fitting: a base coat, shades for the cushion and the belts and a fine wash or dry brush to bring out the relief.
This is a resin accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
