Eduard 1:32 Bf 109G-2/4 exhaust stubs is a resin set of exhaust stubs for refining a model of this German fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin detail set from the manufacturer Eduard in 1:32 scale that replaces the plastic exhaust stubs of a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-2 and G-4 fighter with more accurate resin parts with hollowed out, open mouths. Resin makes realistic hollow stubs possible, which in plastic are usually solid. It is not a model but an accessory to a separately sold plastic model.
The Bf 109 was the basic German fighter of the Second World War. The G version (Gustav) made up the most numerous series; the G-2 and G-4 subversions were among the early forms of the G series and shared identical exhaust pipework.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water and remove the mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off carefully and clean them up, and be cautious with the thin stubs. Bond them with super glue. Spray the stubs in shades of burnt steel and rust, and if you wish pick them out with a dry brush and pigments.
This is an accessory set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
