SPACE is a line from the Czech manufacturer Eduard that combines color 3D interior decals on decal paper with steel photo-etched parts. This set is intended for models of the Bf 109G-2 and G-4 in 1:32 scale. The 3D decals reproduce the instrument panel and the side consoles with modeled relief and finished color printing, while the steel photo-etch adds above all the pre-painted harness belts of the seat and other small features that a decal cannot create.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G was among the most widespread German fighters of the Second World War. The G-2 and G-4 versions brought a powerful engine and were deployed on many fronts.
The 3D decals are not soaked whole in water: it is enough to moisten the carrier paper, lift the element off with tweezers and set it with white PVA glue onto a cleaned and varnished interior. Do not use a decal softener on them, as it attacks the printed resin of the SPACE parts. The steel photo-etched belts are separated from the fret, formed and bonded with super glue. The pre-painted parts only need light accenting, if anything.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit; the model itself and the paints are not included in the package.
