This is a resin detail set from the manufacturer Eduard in 1:32 scale that replaces the plastic wheels of a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-4 fighter with more accurate castings. Resin wheels offer a sharper tire tread and finer detail of the hub than injected plastic can manage. It is not a model but an accessory to a separately sold plastic model.
The Bf 109 was the basic German fighter of the Second World War. The G version, nicknamed Gustav, made up the most numerously built series; the G-4 subversion was among the early forms of the G series deployed during 1943.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with a little dish soap to remove the remains of mold release agent from the mold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a knife and clean up the surfaces; protect your airways when sanding resin. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a base coat before painting and unify the tires with a matte blackish gray.
This is an accessory set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
