This resin set by the brand Quickboost from the Czech manufacturer Aires brings faithfully cast barrels of the forward guns for a model of the German heavy fighter Messerschmitt Bf 110E in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory for more experienced modelers that replaces the thicker and less accurate plastic barrels. The cast barrels have the correct profile and a sharp muzzle, so the nose of the aircraft looks more realistic than it does from the box.
The Messerschmitt Bf 110 was a German twin-engine heavy fighter (Zerstorer), committed from the start of the Second World War as an escort and an attack fighter alike. The Bf 110E version was powered by liquid-cooled inverted V12 Daimler-Benz engines and carried heavy forward armament in the nose combining machine guns and cannons.
First wash the castings in lukewarm water with dish soap so that the remains of mold release agent are removed. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and sand the cut faces with respiratory protection. Glue the parts with cyanoacrylate, not with cement for plastic. Try the fit dry before painting, as resin may need a little cleaning up.
The set is supplied as a resin part, unassembled and unpainted. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a plastic kit. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
