A resin correction part, correct bulges over the gun covers for the Bf 109G-6 from the Czech brand Quickboost in 1:32 scale: an accessory, not a kit of the model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin accessory from the Quickboost brand in 1:32 scale brings precisely shaped bulges on the upper engine cowling of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 fighter. It is not a model of the airplane but a pair of small correction parts that replace the inaccurate bulges from the plastic kit and give the nose a faithful profile.
For the heavier 13 mm MG 131 fuselage machine guns the G version needed bulkier breech covers, and so it was given two characteristic bulges on the upper cowling. It was precisely from those that the nickname Beule, meaning bulge, arose among the pilots. The parts from boxed kits are often too flat or inaccurate in shape; precisely shaped bulges do away with that shortcoming.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water because of the mold release residue. Cut off the casting block with a saw or a knife, sand the surface and protect your airways when sanding resin. Cut the original bulges off the kit and replace them with the resin ones; glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting, for better adhesion.
It is supplied as a resin accessory for experienced modelers, not as a stand-alone kit. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
