Colored seat belts of British fighter aircraft of the prewar period and the early Second World War in 1:32 scale, with metal buckles.
Responsibility details are not available.
In glazed and open cockpits alike, the pilot's seat tends to be the most conspicuous spot in the interior. Belts cast directly onto the plastic part look flat and are hard to separate from the upholstery when painting. This set offers separate colored straps with metal buckles for British fighter aircraft of the prewar period and the early Second World War in 1:32 scale.
The set holds colored straps and metal buckles, as the product designation states. Unlike a plastic part, a thin strap can be bent, draped over the edge of the seat or left hanging freely, so the cockpit gains depth with no further work.
The set is not tied to one particular kit, so you will usually adapt the length of the straps to the particular seat. The straps are applied like ordinary wet decals: the sheet is dipped briefly in lukewarm water and the belt is slid off the backing paper onto a gloss base, where it can still be adjusted.
The set suits builders of British fighters with a clearly visible cockpit for whom the belt relief cast onto the seat is not enough.
The package holds only the straps and the buckles. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
