This resin set holds finely worked wheel bays for a model of the Canadian version of the CF-104G Starfighter fighter in 1:32 scale. It is an accessory meant for experienced modelers, which replaces the simplified parts of the base kit and markedly raises the fidelity of the landing gear compartments. It is not a standalone airplane model but a detail set for one.
The CF-104G Starfighter, built by Lockheed and under license by Canadair, was a single-engine supersonic aircraft, the Canadian version of the famous F-104. It was marked by a slim fuselage, short trapezoidal wings and a powerful turbojet. It served as a multirole fighter and strike machine and was known for its high speed.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks carefully and join them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. A primer undercoat and shading of the bays to bring out the detail are advisable.
