This set is not an aircraft model but an aftermarket upgrade for a plastic kit. It contains a cast resin ESCAPAC 1A-1 ejection seat with which you replace the simplified seat from the box. It is intended for models of the American carrier aircraft A-4 Skyhawk and A-7 Corsair II in 1:32 scale.
ESCAPAC was a family of American ejection seats from Douglas, used among others by precisely these two aircraft, the A-4 Skyhawk attack aircraft and the A-7 Corsair II. The resin casting captures the shape of the seat, the straps and the survival equipment far more faithfully than the plastic part from the box, so once painted it lifts the impression of an open cockpit considerably.
Separate the seat from the casting block with a fine saw or a knife and wash it to remove mold release residue. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Count on fine-tuning the fit in the cockpit tub; protect your airways when sanding resin. The seat comes into its own once it is painted and the straps and details are carefully brought out.
This is an add-on set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
