A resin detail accessory from the Quickboost brand by Aires in 1:32 scale. The set replaces the lower, that is ventral, keel fin with a correctly shaped resin part. It is not a model of the aircraft but a corrective accessory that will sharpen up the shape of this surface against the kit.
The Republic F-105 Thunderchief was an American supersonic fighter-bomber, widely committed during the war in Vietnam. The lower keel fin under the rear part of the fuselage improved directional stability at high speeds.
Wash the part free of mold release residue, cut off the casting block and glue it with super glue. Check that it seats exactly on the fuselage before gluing.
