1:32 Fw-190 and Bf-109 - Leading Edge Wavelet No.2

Fw 190 and Bf 109 – Leading Edge Wavelet No.2, 1:32 (77propeller)

This is a flexible plastic painting stencil for an airbrush, not a kit. It serves to spray the wavelet pattern on the leading edges of the wings of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190 and Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighters in 1:32 scale. Pattern No.2 is the second variant of the wave and complements pattern No.1.

The real subject

The Fw 190 and the Bf 109 formed the basis of the Luftwaffe fighter force during the Second World War. Their camouflage schemes differed by period and by unit, and irregular waves in the color transitions appeared along the leading edges.

Use

• Hold the stencil against the leading edge and spray over the edge of the camouflage field with an airbrush.
• The flexible material conforms to the curve of the wing leading edge.
• Combining it with pattern No.1 gives a more varied and less repetitive wave.
• Spray in thin coats; the stencil can be used again and again.

Who the stencil is for

For modelers building the Fw 190 or the Bf 109 in 1:32 scale who want a faithful, repeatable wave in the camouflage along the leading edges.

The set contains the stencil only. The paints, the airbrush and the model are not included in the package.
