Resin exhausts tend to have open, drilled-out mouths and a finer surface than injected parts. The result is a more realistic engine area that stands up to a close look at the weathering of burnt paint.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks off and clean the surfaces up with your breathing protected. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Exhausts are usually painted in metallic and rusty shades and finished with pigments for a burnt steel effect.
