A decal sheet in 1:32 scale with the markings of British Blackburn Buccaneer aircraft from the period of the war in the Persian Gulf.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Blackburn Buccaneer is a British twin-engine attack aircraft with a low-set wing, originally designed for operation from aircraft carriers and later used from land bases as well. It was built for flight very low over the ground and over the sea, and its sturdy structure matches that. In the war in the Persian Gulf it made itself useful in marking targets for guided munitions, and it was precisely the machines from that deployment that carried conspicuous and often improvised markings.
Decals in 1:32 scale for finishing a model of the Buccaneer, that is the markings of particular machines and the lettering. A detailed breakdown of the individual options and of their placing on the model is in the instructions enclosed with the sheet.
Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is not a self-adhesive form; a soaked self-adhesive film is ruined, whereas a waterslide decal that has not been soaked can be soaked later. With the usual waterslide sheet, cut the decal out together with its border, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it starts to come free of the backing. It is laid onto a gloss, degreased surface, because on a matte varnish air stays under the film and the edge goes white. Settle it down with a decal softener and give it a coat of varnish at the end.
The model, paints, varnish and softener are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
