A resin accessory from Reskit in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but a detailed interior set for the American Bell UH-1D Huey multipurpose helicopter. The set covers the cockpit, the pilot seats and the fittings of the cargo bay. It is intended for the UH-1D plastic kit in this scale from Kitty Hawk.
The resin castings markedly lift the detail of the crew compartment and the cargo cabin compared with the parts out of the box, including the instruments, the levers and the seats. The interior of a Huey is clearly visible through the glazing and the open doors, so improving it shows on the finished model.
Wash the resin parts free of the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces gently with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). It is best to paint and tone the interior completely before the fuselage is closed. It is an accessory for more experienced modelers.
The set contains resin interior parts. A model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
