The masks serve for spraying the registration markings, that is the identification letters and codes of the aircraft, directly with an airbrush. The Hi-Tech form is cut in detail and matched to the shape and the placement of the markings on the Hawker Tempest Mk.V fighter.
You stick the templates in the relevant place, cover the surroundings and spray the shade of the markings with an airbrush. Sprayed codes and letters hold their shape even on an intricate surface and do not create a glossy film as decals do, which looks more realistic above all on matte finishes.
The surface must be clean and dry. Apply the paint in thin layers so that it does not run under the edges. Stick the fine inner parts of the letters and codes down carefully so that they sit in their place.
This is a masking aid. Paints and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
