It is not a kit, but a replacement part that swaps the simplified exhausts from the box for more faithful castings with a fine surface.

What the part is for

The He 111 was a twin-engine bomber with a distinctive fully glazed nose and one of the mainstays of the Luftwaffe. It was powered by inverted V12 engines and carried a row of exhaust stacks along the sides of the engine nacelles. Those stacks are a striking detail on a model; a good casting with a realistic shape and open outlets lifts the impression of a finished model markedly.

Usage tips

First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent to remove mold release residue. Cut the casting blocks off carefully with a saw or break them off and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue. The exhaust outlets can be drilled out slightly for effect and brought out with dark metal and rusty shades; a light sooting behind the stacks works well too.
