The set holds resin wheels with a faithful structure of tires and rims, plus masking films, for a model of the Il-2m3 attack aircraft in 1:32 scale. The wheels are usually cast with realistic flattening at the contact patch, and the masks make it easy to spray the tires and the hubs cleanly. The Ilyushin Il-2 Shturmovik was a Soviet attack aircraft of the Second World War, famous for its heavy armor and its effective attack armament. The m3 version was a two-seater with a gunner covering the rear hemisphere and was among the most numerously built combat machines of its day.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and cut off the casting blocks. Glue the wheels on with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Stick the masking films onto the tires before spraying, then spray the rims and finally remove the masks. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
