A resin replacement part, not a model. This resin casting from the Czech brand Quickboost (Aires) in 1:32 scale represents the broad-bladed wooden propeller of the VS 111 type for the German dive bomber the Junkers Ju 87 D/G Stuka. It is an easily fitted replacement for the propeller out of the box, with a more faithful shape and sharper detail of the blades. It is supplied unpainted and without the model of the airplane.
The late versions of the Ju 87, the D series and the antitank G, used a broad-bladed wooden propeller that made better use of the power of the Junkers Jumo engine. The resin propeller captures the characteristic profile and the width of the blades more accurately than the production plastic part and becomes a conspicuous focal point of a finished model. The propeller can be left free to turn after gluing if you adjust the mounting of the hub beforehand.
Wash the mold release residue off the part, cut the casting block off carefully and sand the mating surface with respiratory protection. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting; wooden blades are nicely imitated with glazes of brown shades over a light base, the metal hub with an airbrush, and a fine wash completes them.
The part is supplied unpainted as a resin casting. Glue, paints and the model of the airplane are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
