1:32 Macchi MC.205 Veltro LooK (Eduard) is a color resin instrument panel with pre-painted steel belts for refining the cockpit of the Italian fighter in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The LooK set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard brings a finished color instrument panel cast in resin, together with pre-painted steel seat belts (the STEEL range). It is not an airplane model but a cockpit detail accessory intended for models of the Macchi MC.205 Veltro in 1:32 scale. The panel is printed in color with realistic depth to the instruments, so the laborious hand painting of dials is no longer needed.
The Macchi MC.205 Veltro was one of the best Italian fighters of the Second World War. It was powered by a license-built Daimler-Benz DB 605 inverted V12 engine and held its own against Allied types in speed and in performance at high altitude. A faithfully rendered cockpit is one of the striking details of this elegant aircraft and is worth bringing out.
First separate the resin parts carefully from the casting blocks and wash off any mold release agent. Glue the panel and the belts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Thanks to the flexible material the steel belts can be shaped and made to drape naturally over the seat. It is best to seat the front panel only once it has been lined up with the fuselage.
This is an accessory, not a kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
