A self-adhesive mask set of fine Japanese kabuki tape, shaped by accurate machine die-cutting. It serves for quick and clean masking of glazing and other areas during airbrushing. It is intended for models of the F-16C Fighting Falcon fighter in 1:32 scale.
This middle level of the set covers the cockpit glazing including masks for the sealing and the edge of the frames, plus further clear parts and the wheel rims. After spraying, the fine lines of the frames and the transitions between the interior and the outside color therefore stand out.
Degrease the glazing and dry it first. Lift the masks off the sheet with tweezers, lay them on the part and press them down carefully all around, so that the paint does not run under the edge. Spray in thin coats, first the shade of the frames and then the outside camouflage. Once dry, take the masks off carefully with the tip of a knife or with tweezers. Kabuki tape can be shaped into curves, holds its shape and leaves no adhesive behind when taken off.
This is a masking accessory, not a model. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
