A resin set of sensing units for the MiG-21MF in 1:32 scale from the Czech brand Quickboost (the Aires range): crisp replacements for the small sensors on the fuselage.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of fine resin sensing units for a kit of the MiG-21MF fighter in 1:32 scale from the Czech brand Quickboost (a production range of the Aires company). It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory that replaces the coarser or missing plastic sensors from a kit with crisply cast parts. The small sensors are fitted on the nose and the fuselage of the aircraft and refine its exterior detail markedly.
The MiG-21 (NATO code Fishbed) was a Soviet supersonic fighter with a delta wing and one of the most widespread jet fighters in history. The MF version was among the widely produced variants and served with the air forces of Warsaw Pact countries including Czechoslovakia. On its fuselage and nose it carried a number of small sensors and probes, which are the subject of this set.
First wash the resin parts to remove mold release residue and separate them carefully from the casting block; sand with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The sensors are small and fragile, so fit them with tweezers and preferably at the end of the build. Apply a primer coat before painting.
This is a resin accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
