1:32 Oxygen bottle is a modeling accessory in 1:32 scale. An oxygen bottle is the pressure vessel of the crew's breathing system; on real aircraft it was placed in the cockpit, behind the seat or in the space behind the cockpit, where it can be set well on a model at a large scale. It is a standalone part, not a kit: the base model is bought separately.
In 1:32 scale the interior of a model is clearly visible, especially when you build with the canopy slid back. That is exactly where the small things show that a kit either does not have at all or renders only as a coarse molding. An oxygen bottle is one of them: a simple but conspicuous item that gives a cockpit credibility. Check the number of pieces in the package, the material and the dimensions on the box.
First try the part dry in the place you want it and only then free it of any casting remnant. Cut with a saw or a sharp knife, not with nippers, so that the thin wall is not deformed. Wash the part in lukewarm water with detergent before painting and let it dry. Apply a primer and choose the shade according to the documentation for the particular aircraft; a light final wash brings out the retaining straps and the joints. It is bonded with cyanoacrylate glue or a thin drop of epoxy, as ordinary plastic cement may not hold.
The package contains the accessory. The model, paints and glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
