1:32 Oxygen tanks and cylinders is a set of modeling accessories in 1:32 scale. According to the name it contains oxygen tanks as well as cylinders, that is elements of the crew's breathing system, which on real aircraft were stowed in the fuselage and in the cockpit area. The set serves to fill out a model you have already built or have in progress; a kit is not part of it.
In 1:32 scale it is worth filling the interior out, because a great deal of it is visible once the model is finished. Tanks and cylinders are moreover the kind of equipment that kits deal with only roughly. The set covers several elements at once, so it also serves as a stock for a number of models in progress. Plan in advance which element goes where and try it dry. Cut the parts off the casting remnants with a saw, level the surfaces with fine wet sanding and wash them in lukewarm water with detergent before painting. A coat of primer matters on small parts: without it the shade goes astray and a wash runs in unevenly. Pick out the retaining straps and clamps with a dark wash and the metal parts with a light drybrush. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue and in a small amount, so that it does not run over the surrounding paint.
The package contains accessories. The model, paints and glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
