A color 3D interior decal for the cockpit in 1:32 scale from Quinta Studio. It is not an aircraft model but a set of raised color decals with which you detail the cockpit of the Curtiss P-40E War Hawk plastic kit by Trumpeter. The set does away with laborious painting and with photo-etched parts.
A 3D decal is a thin raised decal printed in color and with a three-dimensional structure. It transfers from its backing paper much like a wet decal and gives the instrument panel, the side panels and the belts faithful colors, dial faces and switches in one step. The result looks solid and reads well even under a magnifier, without your having to paint tiny details with a brush.
Soak the sheet briefly in lukewarm water, about fifteen seconds, and the part will slide off the backing paper onto a gloss coat. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as the chemistry attacks the printed resin and ruins the part. Work in the order given in the instructions and lay larger areas down in one go.
