A resin figure from CMK capturing a British fighter pilot of 1942 in 1:32 scale. The figure is cast in resin and complemented by a small photo-etched part. It was designed above all for a model of the British Westland Whirlwind fighter, but it will serve with other RAF aircraft models as well.
It renders a pilot of the Royal Air Force (RAF) standing, with faithfully drawn flying clothing and equipment of 1942. In the larger 1:32 scale the details of the clothing, the face and the equipment stand out, so the figure complements a display model or a smaller scene well.
Wash the parts free of the mold release agent, separate the casting blocks carefully and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with respiratory protection. Apply a primer; in the larger scale it pays to shade the skin of the face and the hands carefully, build the clothing up with transitions of khaki and brown and bring the details out with a wash and glazes.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
