About product

IJAAF seat belts of the Second World War STEEL 1:32 (Eduard)

A photo-etched detail set from the STEEL range from the Czech maker Eduard. It is NOT a model but a set of safety belts for the pilot's space. The pre-colored steel sheet forms well and faithfully imitates textile webbing. The belts match the gear of the pilots of the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force in the Second World War.

What the set contains

Pre-colored steel photo-etching with the parts of the seat belts, buckles and fittings of the Japanese type. The exact number of parts and the scope of the package differ between sets.

Usage tips

Separate the parts with a sharp blade and form them with tweezers. The self-adhesive steel belts are bent over the edges of a seat for a realistic look. The color can be touched up locally; the base is printed.

Who the set is for

  • modelers of Japanese army aircraft of the Second World War in 1:32 scale
  • anyone interested in a realistic look to the belts
  • advanced as well as moderately experienced builders
  • collectors looking to refine a cockpit

This is an accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
