A colored photo-etched set from the manufacturer Eduard for upgrading the interior of a model of the British Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IXc fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory for the cockpit.
The pre-printed colored photo-etched parts complement and replace the plastic elements of the cockpit, typically the instrument panel, the side panels, the levers and the seatbelts. The colors are fired directly onto the metal, so the panels do not have to be painted. In the large 1:32 scale the open cockpit of the Spitfire is markedly visible, so the level of detail tells noticeably.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and bend them with tweezers or a photo-etch bending tool. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) in a small amount. Assemble the layered instrument panel precisely and unify the whole with a final matte varnish.
This is a detail accessory. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
