Turned metal set MASTER 1:32, Spitfire Mk.IXe/XVIe, late version with Hispano 20 mm and Browning .50 cal barrels in rounded fairings, for the Tamiya kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of turned metal barrels in 1:32 scale from the Polish manufacturer MASTER for the British Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IXe and Mk.XVIe fighter in the late configuration with rounded fairings. It holds the barrels of the Hispano 20 mm cannons and the .50 cal Browning machine guns in fairings and is designed for the Tamiya kit.
The late Spitfire Mk.IXe and Mk.XVIe carried a combination of Hispano cannons and .50 cal Browning machine guns in the E type wing. The set replaces the plastic barrels with precise metal parts of more faithful shape and muzzle and is prepared for the geometry of the Tamiya kit.
Cut the parts off the casting stubs and clean them up. Fit the metal barrels in place of the plastic parts and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before painting, apply a suitable primer to the metal.
It is not an aircraft model but an add-on set of replacement barrels. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
