A resin detail set from the Aires company in 1:32 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a set of faithful landing gear bays for a matching Sukhoi Su-27 kit. The castings bring a rich structure of ribs, lines and walls that plastic parts usually only suggest.
The Sukhoi Su-27 (NATO code Flanker) is a Soviet and later Russian twin-engine air superiority fighter. It stands out for its long range, marked agility and characteristic aerodynamic shape with a blended wing and fuselage. It serves with a number of air forces and is one of the best-known combat aircraft of its generation.
Wash the parts to remove mold release residue, separate them from the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. The bays come into their own once the base shade is painted, the edges are brought out with a dry brush and a wash is run into the recesses.
This is an accessory resin set, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
