This is the continuation of the equipment for the same American half-track machine. The package again does not contain the vehicle model itself. A pair of sets makes it possible to grade how loaded the vehicle will be: on its own it supplies a restrained tidiness, and together with the first part the impression arises of a crew that has been living in the vehicle for some time.
Half-track machines of American origin reached the Allied armies in enormous numbers during the 1940s and served long after the fighting ended, among others with a number of further countries. That is exactly why they can be set into a very wide range of scenes, from Western Europe in 1944 through postwar conflicts to training units. The modeler is therefore not tied to a single episode and can choose the subject according to mood and according to the figures at hand.
Whichever period you choose, keep the equipment a step away in color from the body, otherwise it will be lost in the olive tone of the vehicle. Leather and textile items will take a warmer shade, metal containers a cooler one instead. Suggest the wear on the edges thinly: exaggerated metallic sheen is the most common mistake on small items and the viewer notices it before the equipment itself. Try using a very dark steel gray instead of silver and add the sheen only where there was real contact.
