Rob Taurus T-33 Shooting Star 1:72 (clear canopy)

A vacuum-formed clear canopy for a model of the T-33 Shooting Star trainer in 1:72 scale. It is NOT an aircraft model but an accessory (a replacement canopy) that replaces the original injection-molded glazing. The set contains parts that make it possible to show the canopy open as well as closed.

Use

• cut the part from the blister and clean the edges up along the frame of the glazing
• glue it with a clear canopy glue (a PVA-based one, for example) or with cyanoacrylate glue applied in spots
• mask and spray the canopy frames and protect the clear area
• the open variant lets you show the detail of the cockpit interior

Who it is for

For modelers who want more faithful and cleaner glazing than the one from the original kit, or who want to display the cockpit open. Working with a vacuum-formed part is finer work and will be appreciated by more advanced builders.

This is an accessory (a replacement canopy), not a model. It does not contain the plastic model, glue or paints.
