A detailed resin set from Aires intended to improve the cockpit of a model of the T-28C Trojan aircraft in 1:32 scale. This is not an aircraft kit but an accessory that replaces the cockpit from a plastic kit with a more faithful and more detailed one. The set usually combines cast resin, photo-etched parts and a pre-printed film with the instruments. The parts have to be cut out, cleaned up, painted and fitted into the base kit.
The set markedly raises the level of detail in an open cockpit: the instrument panel, the side consoles, the seats with belts and the control levers. Ideal for modelers who want to display the cockpit open.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts and cut off the casting blocks with a saw. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and bend the photo-etched parts over an edge. We recommend painting the instrument panel with an airbrush and finishing the details with a brush, with the instrument film set behind the glazing.
This is an accessory, not an aircraft model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
