A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:32 scale with markings for Sukhoi Su-30 aircraft operated in Venezuela. The set is an accessory for a model you build from another kit; there are no plastic parts or paints in the package.
The Su-30 is a two-seat multirole combat aircraft derived from the Su-27 family. It came in several export versions, which differ from one another in equipment and in small features of the airframe, and Venezuela is among its foreign users. South American machines tend to be attractive to modelers mainly because of their different finish and markings, which differ markedly from the more commonly built versions.
Large decals are easier to apply in 1:32 scale than small ones, but they forgive fewer mistakes in position. Use lukewarm, not hot water: hot water dissolves the adhesive too quickly and the decal starts to curl before you manage to place it. Dip it for a few seconds, take it out and leave it to stand on a paper towel until it begins to slide freely on its backing. Dampen the spot on the model in advance, slide the decal onto it off the backing with tweezers or a brush, and only then move it into its final position. As long as there is water under it, it can be moved; as soon as it begins to dry on, every further movement risks tearing it. Blot the surplus water away with a tissue from the center outward, so no bubbles are left under the film.
The package holds decals only. The model, the paints, the varnishes and accessories are not part of it.
