Be IzzI single-row riveting wheel 0.85 mm

The Be IzzI riveting wheel is a hand tool for imitating rivets. A toothed wheel of hardened steel is set in an ergonomic handle; drawn across the surface of the model, it presses a regular row of small rivet impressions into the plastic. This version is single-row and has a spacing of 0.85 mm, that is, one row of rivets at a constant pitch, a versatile choice for restoring and adding rivet detail.

Use

• Run the wheel along a flexible steel rule to get a straight row of rivets
• Work on a slightly yielding surface so that the rivets are impressed cleanly
• A single-row wheel follows individual rivet lines and copies curves better
• The 0.85 mm spacing belongs to the medium-coarse range of riveting
• Try out the pressure on scrap plastic first
