A resin air intake for the Fw-190D-9 (1:32) from the manufacturer Quickboost. A simple drop-in accessory for refining the model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail accessory in 1:32 scale from the Quickboost line of the Czech firm Aires. It is a faithfully made air intake, or air scoop, of the German Focke-Wulf Fw-190D-9 fighter. Quickboost focuses on easy, drop-in resin parts cast in light gray resin that simply replace the simplified kit rendering.
The Fw-190D-9, nicknamed the Dora, was a high-performing late version of the Fw-190 fighter with the Jumo 213 V engine. The air intake on the fuselage is a small but prominent detail; the resin part has clean edges and a correctly shaped opening that, once glued on and painted, looks more realistic than the plastic original.
Wash the mold release agent off the part, separate it from the casting block and check the fit dry. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray a primer before painting, and sand the resin with respiratory protection.
A resin accessory, not a complete model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
