This is a resin detail set, not a kit. The set from the manufacturer Art Scale contains two 3D-printed Lewis Mk.III aircraft machine guns with a finely rendered cylindrical barrel cooling jacket and other detail that injected plastic reaches only with difficulty.
The Lewis machine gun was used as movable defensive or observer armament on a range of aircraft of the First World War and the interwar era. The set replaces or completes the armament of models in 1:72 scale.
Carefully separate the fine parts from the print supports, wash the print resin residue off them and clean them up. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend a base of filler primer and lifting the detail out by drybrushing.
