Self-adhesive painting masks from kabuki paper for the Polish PZL W-3 Sokol multipurpose helicopter in the A, RL, T and WARM variants, in 1:48 scale. The EXPERT version is the extended set, which covers the cockpit glazing including the inner side and adds masks for the wheels and further details. Thanks to the precisely shaped masks you paint the frames and the surfaces with sharp edges. They are made by the Czech company New Ware.
You stick the inner masks on before the cockpit is closed up, while the outer ones cover the frames during the final finish. Once the paint has dried you take them off carefully and get cleanly bounded glazing without painting up to the edge by hand. Kabuki paper follows the heavily divided glazing of a helicopter well; it suits an airbrush and a brush alike.
The paints and the model are not included in the package. The masks are intended for single use.
