A set of four mooring bollards for harbor and river dioramas in 1:35 scale. The parts are made by 3D printing in resin.

Mooring bollards stand on the edges of piers, quays and transshipment yards. They serve for tying up ships' lines, and that is why they have a massive shape and a head widened so that a line cannot slip off. In a diorama they reliably establish a place as a harbor or a river transshipment yard, even when the scene is otherwise simple. Other quayside equipment naturally gathers around them, from coiled lines and crates to figures of dockworkers.
The package contains four mooring bollards in 1:35 scale, made by 3D printing in resin. The parts are not polystyrene, so cement for plastic kits has no effect on them; join them with cyanoacrylate glue, and on a larger contact area a two-part adhesive will serve.
With printed parts, cut off the print supports with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remaining stubs with fine abrasive paper. Wash and degrease the parts before painting, so that no residue of print resin is left on the surface and the paint holds. Bollards are set into paving or into a concrete edge, so it is enough to sand the lower face flat and to fit the part only once the groundwork is finished.
The set suits builders of dioramas on harbor, river or factory themes and also completing a display case with a ship model. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
