The set belongs to the launch vehicle of the Russian S-400 antiaircraft missile system, which is designated in the name with the code 51 P6A. The vehicle stands on a heavy multi-axle chassis, so its wheels are substantially larger and coarser than those of an ordinary truck. This is a part for building, not a separate model of the launcher.
The S-400 is a contemporary long-range air defense system, brought into service in the first decade of this century. A battery consists of several vehicles: a surveillance and guidance radar, a command post and launch vehicles, which carry transporter-launcher containers. These are raised into a vertical position before launch, so the vehicle has to be braced and stable even off a paved surface.
The tires of contemporary military chassis have a prominent block design and in service they stay darker and cleaner than hardware of the 1940s. Lead the base into a gray-black, dose the dust sparingly and leave it mainly in the grooves and around the disc. The nuts of the rim stand out when you underline them gently with a dark shade and then lighten the edges imperceptibly. If you place the model on gravel or on a concrete slab road, part of the shade of the base will carry over onto the lower edge of the tire as well and the scene is tied together by it.
