A set of injection-molded plastic figures, Accident (Soviet and German soldiers, summer 1941), in 1:35 scale from Master Box. The box holds a genre scene capturing a road accident during the early phase of the fighting on the Eastern Front. The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The set is conceived as a dramatic scene from the summer of 1941, when Soviet and German soldiers meet at an accident on the roads of the front. The figures are in poses that match the situation – reacting to the collision, helping and talking. They carry the period gear of both armies. The set belongs among the typical genre scenes of Master Box, which put the emphasis on the story and the interplay of the figures rather than on the glorification of combat.
Glue the parts with cement for plastic and clean up the joints. For figures a primer works well, then layering of the colors, a wash into the folds of the uniforms and edge highlighting with drybrushing; finish the faces and the gear with a brush. The set comes into its own in a diorama with period vehicles and elements of the setting.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
