A color 3D decal from Quinta Studio in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit and not etch: it is raised, fully colored cockpit detail printed on backing decal paper, transferred onto the model by soaking in water. The set improves the instrument panels, the side panels and the seats of a model of the AH-1G Cobra attack helicopter. It follows the dimensions of the ICM kit.
The AH-1G Cobra was the first production attack helicopter, used above all in the war in Vietnam. Its narrow tandem cockpit with two stations offers a richly divided interior, which this set sharpens up and brings to life with color.
Go over the surfaces of the cockpit beforehand with a gloss clear coat (Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22). Cut the part out, soak it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the backing paper into place with tweezers. The part has no adhesive layer of its own and holds on the gloss coat; on a complex surface a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as they attack the printed resin.
This is an accessory, not a helicopter model. The kit itself and the paints are not included in the package.
