A spraying stencil in 1:35 scale with the traces of spilled liquid and leaks, meant for aging vehicles and a scene.
Responsibility details are not available.
The traces of spilled liquid are among the most noticeable signs of a vehicle in use. Around filler necks, under the engine, at the gearbox and on the sides of tanks, runnels form that trickle downward and spread into irregular stains on the way. The stencil marks out such a pattern for you, so the result looks like a naturally formed trace and not like a drawn line.
It suits vehicles, barrels and jerrycans in a support area, the workshop concrete under a standing machine and the wooden floor of a shed. It is the ground under a vehicle that tends to be neglected in a diorama, yet traces on the ground are what tell the viewer that the vehicle has been standing there for a while. It serves just as well at a field workshop, at a refueling point or at a fuel store, where liquids are handled most and where they leave traces on everything involved.
Work only on dried paint and always from the top downward, because liquid runs with gravity. Lay the stencil down over its whole area, hold it or fix it with masking tape and mist the paint from a distance, at low pressure and in several light layers. Build the depth gradually and leave the lower end of the runnel weaker and diffused. Take the stencil off while the paint is still damp and wipe it at once.
Paints, the model and other material are not part of this item, unless stated otherwise. The recommended thinning and the way of fixing the stencil are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
