It is not a standalone model but a detail accessory for dioramas, for vehicles and for figure scenes. Thanks to SLA 3D printing the boxes carry fine, crisp relief. The set suits more experienced modelers used to working with resin.
Cal. .50 ammunition boxes were among the most common pieces of US Army equipment: they were carried on vehicles and stacked at firing positions and in the rear. Models of the boxes therefore bring the interior and the surroundings of vehicles to life, along with M2 machine gun positions or resupply scenes. You can use them stacked, opened or scattered loosely around the scene.
First wash any uncured resin residue off the parts, then cut away the 3D print supports. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with respiratory protection. Prime before painting; a base of olive drab with washes and drybrushing to bring out the lettering and the edges gives a realistic look.
This is an add-on resin set, not a standalone model. Glue, paints and the vehicle are not included in the package.
