1:35 A loaf of cheese is a scenic accessory for a diorama in 1:35 scale — a loaf of ripening cheese as a prop for market, kitchen and farm scenes.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a stand-alone object of a scene, not a kit. A large round loaf of cheese is one of those props that have an unexpectedly large effect in a scene: it sets the setting at once, gives a scene a civilian dimension and offers a color that stands out pleasantly from gray machinery and green terrain.
The same subject in three scales
The accessory also comes out in 1:48 and 1:72 scale. The scale is the distinguishing detail — choose it according to the figures and vehicles in your scene.
You will use the loaf at a market, in a country house, in a cellar or a larder, on the bed of a supply vehicle and in a scene with a field kitchen. It combines well with boxes, barrels, furniture and other household equipment from the same diorama line.
Separate the part from the casting residue with a sharp scalpel, level the mating surface by sanding and degrease the surface before painting. Choose the glue according to the material — cyanoacrylate for small resin parts, thin cement for plastic on plastic. In color, rely on warm shades of ivory and light ocher for the inside and a noticeably darker, brownish rind around the circumference; blend the transition softly. A matte surface is essential — a sheen would turn food into a plastic disc. If you cut the loaf open, add a lighter tone in the cut, so that the difference between the rind and the body is visible.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
