It is not a vehicle model, but a set of faithful miniatures of rounds and cartridge cases with which you replace or complete the ammunition from the basic kit, or bring an interior, a fighting compartment or a diorama to life. The set is meant for modelers who want to raise the realism where the rounds are visible.
The 85 mm caliber was among the key Soviet tank and anti-tank calibers of the Second World War. Rounds of this type go with the guns that armed, for example, the T-34-85 medium tank or the self-propelled guns of the same era. The ammunition is made up of a projectile and a cartridge case, and rendering it accurately contributes markedly to the sense of truth a displayed model gives.
Separate the parts carefully and clean up the edges. Glue the metal and plastic parts according to the material — metal items best with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The cartridge cases are worth bringing out in shades of brass and copper, and the projectiles in a metal color with scorching where wanted. Set the rounds out in the interior, in racks or loose beside the crew for a livelier scene.
This is an add-on ammunition set, not a vehicle model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
