The figure is modeled in a working pose while loading 75 mm ammunition, and the uniform matches a British armored unit marked RAC in the pattern for North Africa. The sequence number No. 2 tells the second pose of the same subject apart, and the first number and a multi-figure set are available as well.
The pair of working poses is meant to complement each other in a scene and make a chain of ammunition being passed along. The figure can be stood beside the hull of a vehicle, by an open crate or by a truck. A resin casting holds a sharp rendering of the stretched sleeves and the folds, which show most with a carried load. The figure tends to be split into a torso, a head and arms, and the parting lines are hidden under the collar and in the sleeves.
Wash the casting in lukewarm water with dish soap and let it dry out. Cut the casting block off with a saw, level the surface and sand it down with your airways protected. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue, fill the gaps with filler, and only then apply a primer. When painting, follow the direction in which the fabric is stretched: lighten the edges on the shoulders, at the waist and in the bends of the arms, and leave a deeper shadow under the arms and between the folds. Use a thinner wash and in more coats. If you are building the figure together with the first pose, paint both at the same time from the same palette, or the difference in the shade of the uniform will show in the scene. Finish the face and the hands with oil paints. Knock the finished figure back with a matte clear coat and bring the gloss back only on the leather and the metal parts.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
