This is a 3D printed resin accessory from Firma49 in 1:35 scale, not a model in its own right. It depicts the British tropical (cork) helmet, the typical headgear for service in hot regions. It will serve to bring figures and scenes from a desert or colonial setting to life.
Tropical cork helmets were worn by British soldiers and staff in tropical and desert theaters, for example in North Africa and in the Far East. They gave protection from the sun and became a striking part of the period look.
Wash the print resin residue off the part, separate it from the print support and clean it up. The resin can be dipped briefly in hot water before the supports are removed, when it softens and chips less. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. A base coat and flat shades with a fine patina are recommended.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The glue, the paints and figures are not included in the package.
