This is not a model of the vehicle but a detail accessory, the canvas cover over the fighting compartment of the German Sd.Kfz. 251 medium half-track in the Ausf. D version. The resin casting captures the folds and the sag of the fabric faithfully, which are hard to reproduce in plastic.
The Sd.Kfz. 251 was a German medium armored half-track of the Second World War, committed in many roles from carrying infantry to command and special versions. The Ausf. D version was the most widespread simplified production variant. The canvas, once fitted, protected the crew and the load from bad weather.
Wash the part in warm water with detergent, cut off the casting block and adjust the mating surface to the hull of your model. Glue it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The canvas comes out well in a semi-gloss to matte finish; bring the folds out with a light dry brush and fine dust shading.
