A set of metal tracks from Friulmodel intended for the German super-heavy tank E-100. It is not a model but an accessory for your kit — individual track links cast in white metal, which replace the plastic tracks from the box and give the running gear the weight and the look of real metal.
The E-100 was one of the German super-heavy tank projects of the end of the Second World War. The vehicle, weighing around a hundred tons, got no further than a part-built chassis and never went into action. Its exceptionally wide tracks are one of its characteristic features, and the metal set captures them.
The links are cast in soft white metal. Before assembly you clean up the small flash with a file, join the individual parts with the enclosed wire, which serves as a pin, and get a fully workable track with a natural sag over the road wheels. The metal can be chemically blackened and weathered without ordinary painting. We recommend super glue.
The tracks are an accessory for a model and are supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
