Building and painting tips

Cut any excess material away a little distance from the part with a sharp blade and sand the remainder. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Choose the glue to match the material of the parts: liquid modeling cement for polystyrene, cyanoacrylate for parts of other materials. On turnout gear a dark ground with lighter transitions on the folds helps; leave the reflective stripes until the end so that they stay clean.
